Track public brand mentions, competitor page changes and opportunities. Get a weekly brief with three conclusions and three actions.

Set up a project

Open Competitor Monitor, add your website, then review the suggested competitors. You can track your own brand and up to five competitors.

Check names, aliases and context words, especially for brands whose names are common words. Choose the source packs, pages and daily scan time. The footer shows your estimated credits per day before you start.

The first scan searches the last 30 days where the source supports dates. It starts immediately, with progress shown per source. The first brief follows the first complete scan when enabled and available.

What is tracked

  • Mentions: search-indexed Reddit pages, Hacker News, GitHub, blogs, Q&A, news, directories and selected public social pages.
  • Pages: pricing, changelog, homepage, blog, docs, integrations and other URLs you choose.
  • Opportunities: pages that mention competitors but do not mention your brand.
  • Weekly brief: a short summary on Mondays, with the first brief after your first complete scan.

Mention matching can be reviewed with Relevant and Not relevant. Uncertain matches and undated pages found during setup have separate collapsed groups. Undated setup items do not inflate charts. A source that was unavailable appears as a gap.

The Pages tab compares pricing plans and shows a change timeline. Expand a change to see the text or pricing fields. Use Ignore this kind of change to reduce recurring noise.

Pricing

Operation Credits
Mention scan 8 per brand per day with a successful source
Page check 1 per successful page
Complete AI summary of a material page change 3
Weekly brief 20

Discovery, page discovery, test fetches, mention review and notifications are free. Eligible first scans are free; the first complete brief is free once per user. Limits apply to free scans, including repeat domains and account allowances. Deleting a project does not reset these allowances. Setup shows current availability.

For example, four brands and nine pages use about 44 credits per day including the weekly brief, before change summaries. At $0.009 per credit that is about $12 per month. The dashboard estimate uses current prices.

Run now is paid and limited to once per hour per project. Scheduled scans pause if the balance cannot cover the estimate and resume when credits are available. Failed page fetches and incomplete AI output are not charged.

Notifications

Choose email for material events, weekly only, or off. Material alerts are grouped per run, with an email limit of one per project per six hours. Connect Telegram from Settings, open the generated link and press Start. The link expires after 15 minutes. Telegram alerts follow their own setting.

In-app notifications and AI Reports include completed briefs and important changes. You can also configure an HTTPS webhook URL and signing secret.

Webhooks

Webhooks use the same signature and retry rules as Search Monitor. Store the signing secret securely and verify the signature before processing a delivery.

Beta limits

Search indexing can be delayed. Comments added to old Reddit threads, zero-engagement posts and other pages that Google has not indexed may be missed. Public social-site coverage is limited. Private Discord, Slack and Telegram conversations are outside coverage.

This is public-web monitoring, not a complete archive. Review uncertain matches and send feedback from the dashboard when something is missing.
