How billing works

Simple, usage-based credits. You only pay for results you actually get back.

1 credit = a search's first page

A single-engine web search bills 1 credit per 10 returned result positions, rounded up. A default search (up to 10 results) is 1 credit; a deep search returning 30 is 3. Dynamic operations show their own estimate.

Errors and empty pages are free

If a request fails or returns nothing, you are not charged. You only spend credits on real, structured results.

60 free credits to start

Every new account gets 60 free credits, about 60 first-page searches. No card required, and nothing to cancel.

Paid credits never expire

Top up once and draw down at your own pace. Purchased credits have no monthly reset, no use-it-or-lose-it, and no surprise renewals.

Pricing questions

What is a credit?

A credit is the billing unit across OpenSERP Cloud. For single-engine web search, billing is 1 credit per 10 returned result positions, rounded up - so a default search (up to 10 results) is 1 credit and a deep search returning 53 results is 6. This is result count, not query count. Image search, extraction, and balanced megasearch use dynamic pricing.

Do failed requests cost credits?

No. Errors, timeouts, and empty result pages are never charged. You only spend credits on successful responses with real data.

Is there a subscription or minimum?

Neither. Credits are pay-as-you-go with no recurring fee and no minimum spend. Start with a few dollars and scale when you need to.

Do credits expire?

No. Purchased credits never expire. Top up once and draw down at your own pace with no monthly reset and no surprise renewals.

Are the free credits recurring?

No. The 60 free credits are a one-time grant for new accounts. After they run out you top up and pay per search, with no subscription and no monthly reset.

How do I pay?

Top up your balance from the dashboard. Credits are added the moment your payment confirms and never expire.
